In 2022 we set out to elevate the look of the average mug. 

Coffee lovers at heart, we all have our favorite mug. There may be a few others in the cabinet that we've gotten over the years in our travels. But when we examined them, many just didn't do it for us any more. They were fine in the moment. Impulse purchases at a destination to commemorate the trip, now relegated to the deep caverns of the upper shelf. 

While we'll always have our favorite, we wanted a bit more variety. When we actually looked, so many mugs left us, well, a bit uninspired. We wanted to hold onto a mug that reflected our humor, our thoughts and our loves. And so Clutching Coffee was born. 

We want to share with you those quotes that inspire us, the images with quirky sayings that make us giggle, and the mugs that just look better than your average mug.
